According to the New York Post, the couple will marry on July 21. Turner and Bach have been together for over 25 years and reportedly got engaged in April.
Turner once said in a video interview that they didn’t need to be married. “We are as married now as if it were legal.” But after living together in Switzerland for 18 years, it seems they have changed their tune. The two met when Bach, who is 16 years her junior, was an executive at her record label.
This will be the eight-time Grammy winner’s second marriage. She was married to her first husband, Ike Turner, for 14 years before they divorced in 1976. She chronicled their abusive and drug-filled relationship in her book, “I, Tina: My Story.”
Rumors are circulating that the wedding will either take place at their home on Lake Zurich or the French Riviera, and that fashion designer Giorgio Armani will be in attendance.
